Dear Editor,
I have viewed the HiH web site many times and am impressed with the flow of information and the comments made by its posters.
As with all blogs, some information is useful and some is just entertainment at its best.
I applaud those that continue to share information and explore this concept of community discussion. It is another avenue that has become popular with our fast-paced world.
For those at the helm of our local school systems (public, private, charter, home school, co-ops), the hospital, city government, county government, Vance-Granville Community College, Emergency Management protocol/alerts, Highway Patrol report/alerts regarding traffic issues, I would like to issue a challenge:
This forum is the perfect opportunity to send out your mission statements and reach an even larger audience. I would like to see special write-ups, Letters to the HiH Editor, information-sharing articles, special alerts (i.e., weather, Amber Alerts, and traffic hazards.
I realize that at first this may sound a bit much, but I believe information is useless unless it is shared. Please consider these items as possibly being included in the upcoming months. It will help grow knowledge for many in our community.
