The Henderson Police Department announced additional arrests made yesterday in connection with the recent death of Margaret Cobb, age 74, of 1541 Lynne Avenue.
Ms. Cobb died at Maria Parham Medical Center on November 13, 2006. Her funeral was held in Henderson yesterday.
Henderson Police arrested Abner Bryant Cobb Jr., age 48, Sandra Spencer Cobb, age 47, and Jessica Arrington, age 26, without incident at their Lynne Avenue home today, the same home at which Margaret Cobb resided until she was removed from the home by emergency medical services personnel on November 4. Each is additionally charged with murder and with abuse of a
disabled and elderly adult.
On November 4th, emergency medical service responders summoned officers to the home because of concern over Ms. Cobb’s condition. On November 7th, Detective M. L. Stewart charged each with neglecting a disabled and elderly adult. Those charges still stand, and the additional charges were made after consultation with the District Attorney’s office.
Agents from the State Bureau of Investigation are assisting Police Department investigators with this ongoing investigation.
