The State Board of Education and the NC Department of Public Instruction will be holding eight regional meetings beginning in mid-January to gather public input on implementing a new high school core course of study framework.
The date for the meeting for Region I, where Vance County falls, has yet to be announced. However, according to the relevant State Board of Education web page, the meeting will occur in February at Fike High School in Wilson.
