Dear Editor,
I would be interested to see the number of residents in or out of Vance County who have made complaints against the Henderson Department of Recreation.
I have previously submitted a complaint verbally and in writing, and I have received no response.
To date, the officials at the department of recreation feel that they do not have any voiced concerns from citizens regarding issues that arise during their responsibilities of running this department. They simply give you a “blank stare” as if they do not know what you are referring to.
My experience with this department within our county is that they simply do not care. I believe that it is time that they refocus their efforts and get their act together.
I would like to hear from other tax-paying citizens who may have shared a complaint against this department that has not been dealt with.
