The Cross of Easter at the Flat Rock United Methodist Church The bare wooden cross stays veiled in purple until Easter Morning when it is adorned with blooms of flowers. The blooms represent “Jesus Is Risen, He Conquered Death, and He Gives Us ‘New’ Life!”
