As of 4:50 p.m. today, the Vance County Board of Elections reported one filing for the Henderson City Council, one filing for the Mayor of Kittrell, and one filing for the Kittrell Town Commission.
Garry Daeke, the Ward 3 incumbent, filed to retain his City Council seat. Howard Wynne filed for the office of Mayor of Kittrell, and Millard Grissom filed for the Kittrell Town Commission.

Peace will challenge incumbent Elissa Yount for the Ward 3 at large seat if Yount chooses to run for another term. O’Geary will face Clem Seifert if Seifert chooses to run for his third term as Mayor.
