Yount files for third term on Council


Henderson City Council member Elissa Yount informed Home in Henderson that she filed before noon today to retain her Ward 3 at-large seat.

Yount’s information was accompanied by this statement:

Election time is so important in our democratic system and I hope that the voters in Henderson will continue to have confidence in me and will entrust me to continue to serve them for a third term on their council. I also hope that all the citizens of Henderson will register and participate in voting after they have scrutinized all the candidates and decided who they think will be the most reliable representatives to speak candidly for them. I pledge to continue to be a useful representative for our good City of Henderson.
