The Henderson-Vance Crime Stoppers recently received a check for $5,000 from Chex Truck World.
Chex expressed a special thanks to its fleet customers, visitors to Kerr Lake, and the residents of Middleburg who contributed to the effort through their patronage of the business.
Chex donated five cents for each gallon of fuel purchased and five percent of its restaurant sales to make its gift possible.
