After hearing Henderson resident Nancy Moody speak during the public comments portion of the Henderson City Council last night, members voted to change trick-or-treat hours in the city from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
City ordinance had previously set hours from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Moody commented that the hours were set before the trick-or-treat in the downtown areas was developed. She also commented about issues with child safety and fatigue from such late hours on a school night.
The vote to change the trick-or-treat hours was unanimous.
