Alleged credit card thieves arrested


On December 31, 2007, the Henderson Police Department received a report of individuals using stolen credit cards at various business locations in the city.

After an investigation by members of the Criminal Investigations Division of the Henderson Police Department, the subjects listed below were arrested after their vehicle was stopped by detectives on Graham Avenue in Henderson:

Charges: Obtaining property by false pretenses (16 counts), Possession of stolen property, Felony conspiracy to commit false pretense
Bond: $30,000
Court date: February 11, 2008

Jennifer Michelle Wilder, 25
2293 Warrenton Road, Lot 3
Henderson, NC
Charges: Conspiracy to commit false pretense
Bond: $3,000
Court Date: February 11, 2008

Additional charges are pending on these individuals in other counties for similar offenses.

The investigation is continuing.

Stolen credit cards and stolen checks were located on the suspects when they were taken into custody.

These individuals were charged with using the stolen credit cards to purchase over $2,500 worth of merchandise.
