On January 14, 2007, at 10:04 p.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Ambassador’s Inn, room 133, on 197 Parham Road.
Upon arrival, victim Rob Tew told officers that two black males had entered his room and that both were armed with handguns.
Tew stated that he was robbed of cash. The amount of cash was not released.
According to Tew, the suspects then left in a silver-colored vehicle.
At approximately 10:20 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Dabney Drive matching the victim’s description.
A search of the vehicle revealed two handguns. The victim was brought to the location where the vehicle had been stopped by officers and the victim identified both suspects that had committed the robbery.
The suspects listed below were charged with Robbery with a dangerous weapon. Bond was set at $30,000 each. The two men were placed in the Vance County Jail pending a February 11 court appearance.
