On December 27, 2008, around 11:30 p.m., the Vance County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a home invasion robbery and sexual assault at a residence on Sombrero Lane in Henderson.
It was reported that four armed black males wearing masks broke through the front door of the residence. The suspects locked the victims in the bedroom and then sexually assaulted a female who was present in the house.
Suspects took money, a woman’s purse, a necklace with a guardian angel charm, earrings, debit cards, a driver’s license, and a social security card.
The subjects were wearing black pants and camouflage jackets and were possibly driving a light blue Buick and a dark, full-size, single cab truck.

On January 22, 2008, around 1:00 p.m., Jim Cantrell reported to the Henderson Police Department that someone had broken into three modular homes on the lot of Clayton Homes at 290 Ross Mill Road during the night.
Taken were two G.E. range stoves. The subjects entered through the back door of the homes.
