Safe Kids Henderson-Vance Coalition
On February 7, 2008, the Safe Kids Henderson—Vance Coalition held a Child Passenger Safety Seat check at Wal—Mart from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Child Passenger Safety Technicians checked fourteen seats during the four hour event. We collected $205.00 in donations.
We would like to thank all the volunteers and technicians for their services and hard work to make this event work. We had six technicians at the event.
Also, this event could not have happened if the parents of the children had not come out with their support. We would like to thank the employers of our technicians and volunteers for letting them assist in the event. The agencies that assisted were the Henderson Police Department., Henderson Fire Department, F.V.W. Opportunity, American Human Services, and Safe Kids NC.
