Council to hear presentation on min. housing

Attorney Mike Satterwhite will present tonight to the Henderson City Council on Henderson City Code Chapter 21 and 21C which concern the city’s minimum housing code and the city’s ordinance requiring a certificate of occupancy for rental properties within Henderson.

Although the substance of Satterwhite’s presentation is not known at time of publication, he has in the past represented a consortium of rental property owners in the city of Henderson who opposed the addition of Chapter 21C to city code.

The agenda for tonight’s meeting is as follows:

The Chair inquires as to whether any member knows of any conflict of interest or appearance of conflict with respect to matters before the Council. If any member knows of a conflict of interest or appearance of conflict, please so state at this time. The City Council’s objective is to address public concern for good and open government.
