Arrests
– Latrone Eugene Magbie,of 336 Foster Road lot 1, was arrested for possession of schedule VI drug (marijuana). He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $1000 secured bond.
– Ahkeem Samuel Simril, of 724 Jefferson Street, was arrested for failing to appear in court on a noise ordinance violation. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $500 secured bond.
– Robert Turner Gill IV, of 436 Sunnyview Road, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstruct and delay of a law enforcement officer. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $1000 secured bond.
– Tyrone Eaton, of 620 David Street, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats. He was placed under a $500 secured bond.
Incident Reports
– Richard Sanford, of Barndoor Furniture Company, reported that someone broke a bolt latch on a sliding door and remove $100 worth of copper wiring from the business.
– Penny Carpenter reported that someone entered her residence a stole a XBox 360 and video game valued at $500.
– Mary Johnson, of Carolina Bed Center, reported that someone removed the copper from an A/C unit causing $950.00 damage.
– Nicole Lewis reported that someone stole black pit bull puppy from the back yard of her residence on Water Street.
– Charles Taylor reported that someone took his bank book, bank card, credit card, social security card, and driver’s license from a vehicle while located on Williams Street.
