Arrests – Keith Williams, of 271 Beckford Drive, Apt. F-1, was arrested for assault on a female. He was confined in the Vance Count Jail with no bond.
During the Henderson City Council’s special session of April 21, 2008, it voted unanimously to award the contract for the renovation of the former library into the new City Hall to J.L. Williams Construction.

In a special meeting held Monday, April 21, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, the Henderson City Council voted to rescind Chapter 21C of city code, the so-called Certificate of Occupancy ordinance.
– Mary Lee Harmon, of 1272 E. River Road, Louisburg, was arrested for common law uttering, obtaining property by false pretenses, and possession of fraudulent instrument. She was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
