2008’s first of three “Meet Me in the Street” concerts is scheduled for Thursday, May 22.
Featured band will be Spare Change, considered to be one of the country’s hottest up and coming pop/rock bands. The free concert will take place on Breckenridge Street beside the Wildflower Café from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Other concerts are scheduled for July 24 featuring Band of OZ and for September 11 featuring The Embers.
Each of the events will be brought to Henderson by presenting sponsor Harris Incorporated of Henderson and the Budweiser True Music Concert Series. The concert is coordinated by the Henderson-Vance County Chamber of Commerce.
