Independence Day celebration at Kerr Lake

On Saturday, July 5th the annual Independence Day celebration will be held at Kerr Lake

It will feature fireworks over the water and a lighted boat parade.

Live stage entertainment will be provided by the Attractions Band.

There will be food vendors on site, ice cream, glow sticks and tee shirts for sale.

Bring your blanket or chairs. Come early, stay late and spend a day at the lake. Admission is FREE.

Hours are 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Satterwhite Point Park.

Free shuttle service: 4:30 to 7:30 pm- KARTS vans will be departing from the Rose’s Store parking lot on North Garnett Street (US 1/158 Business) to Satterwhite Point.

Return shuttles begin at 10:00 pm.

Rain date is Sunday, July 6th.
