On July 30, 2008, members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit along with member of the Criminal Investigations Division arrested the individuals listed below:
Demarus Benson, 19
524 Stone Street
Henderson, NC
Charge: Possession of cocaine
Bond: $25,000
Benson was arrested at Highland Green Apartments after officers investigated complaints of drug activity.
John Anthony Wilkins, 32
619 Marshall Avenue
Henderson, NC
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale, and deliver marijuana
Bond: $5,000
Wilkins was arrested at Garnett and Rockspring Street after officers investigated drug complaints in the area. Twelve small, individually packaged plastic bags of marijuana were seized from Wilkins.
Albert Bullock, 18
720 Southerland Street
Henderson, NC
Charges: Possession of marijuana
Bullock was issued a citation after being found in possession of marijuana on Lamb Street.
Gregory Cheek, Jr., 19
150 Daisy Lane
Henderson, NC
Charges: Possession of marijuana
Cheek was cited for possession of marijuana at 466 Powell Street after officers received complaints of dug activity in the area of Powell Street.
