Chief K. L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit attempted to perform a vehicle stop at the 700 block of East Rockspring Street.
During the investigation it was discovered that the vehicle, a 1993 Honda Accord, was reported stolen. A short vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended on the dead end portion of Henry Street after the vehicle ran into a wooded area.
Three passengers and the driver attempted to flee the scene on foot. The vehicle was recovered and the owner was notified. The following individuals listed below were charged and placed in Vance County Jail. The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
