Members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit conducted a four-month undercover drug operation.
Warrants have been obtained on 20 individuals with a total of 49 charges. These individuals are alleged to have been involved in the possession and sale of illegal narcotics.
The purpose of this operation was to target narcotics dealers that attempt to get a stronghold on our community through drug sales, intimidation, and violence. These individuals were involved in the drug trade at all levels and were targeted in this community because of citizen complaints of drug sales occurring on the street and from houses.
Through this type of operation, the Henderson Police Department, along with assistance from our citizens in the community can send a message to these drug dealers that no type of drug activity will be tolerated.
At 9:00 a.m. yesterday morning, a briefing was conducted at the police department and arrest warrants were given to several teams of officers to begin the round-up. Information on suspects arrested will be forthcoming.
The suspects listed below have been arrested as a result of Operation Zero Tolerance. Other arrests are still pending.
