Virginia neo-Nazi Bill White in federal custody

According to an article in The Roanoke Times, white supremicist and neo-Nazi group leader William A. (Bill) White is in federal custody in Virginia today after being indicted for threatening to kill a Chicago juror on his Web site, overthrow.com.

White involved himself in Henderson affairs in the months preceding the trial of Tony Finch. White’s neo-Nazi group sent a mailing in July of 2007 to Henderson residences both in defense of Finch and of a definite anti-African-American slant.

Finch stood trial on charges of ethnic intimidation stemming from an incident that summer when he was charged with ethnic intimidation, going armed to the terror of the public, and carrying a concealed weapon after an altercation that took place on June 8, 2007.

White interviewed Finch on his Internet radio program at least once in an attempt to garner support for Finch.

White had promised to hold a rally at the Vance County Courthouse in support of Finch on Finch’s original trial date. That rally never took place.

Finch ended up pleading to a lesser charge of communicating threats in March of this year and was given a 45 day suspended sentence as well as two years of supervised probation.

Earlier this year, Finch was charged with threatening to kill District Attorney Sam Currin. That case has not yet gone to trial.

Finch’s stepson, Rudy Orr, is currently the North Carolina leader of White’s neo-Nazi organization.
