Henderson Police Chief K. L. Sidwell reported that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation on the parking lot of Food Lion on January 30, 2009.
The Food Lion is located at 1650 North Garnett Street in Henderson.
The investigation was initiated after citizen complaints of incidents occurring at the business.
During the investigation, the suspects listed below were detained after walking around the parking lot and going behind the business. After the suspects consent to a search of their persons, both fled on foot just prior to detectives from the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit searching a coat that belonged to the female listed below. Both were caught a short distance away and a search of the coat yielded thirty bags of heroin.
The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
