Arson
On February 2, 2009, at about 11:10 a.m. officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to 715 Vaughn Street in reference to a house fire.
When officers arrived, a vacant house was fully engulfed in flames.
The house did not have power hook-up.
The house is owned by Danismine Corporation of Hempstead, NY.
The Henderson Fire Department stated that the fire was deliberately set by someone.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny
On January 5, 2009, at about 8:05 p.m., the Vance County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a breaking and entering on Glebe Road.
When deputies arrived, they found the back door open to the victim’s residencs. The victim stated that several items were missing. The items were valued at $2,400.
