On March 5, 2009, a report was filed with Police concerning an embezzlement case from Bowers and Burrows Inc.
After an investigation by members of the Criminal Investigations Division, the suspect Steven Ellington, 53, of 2304 Cary Chapel Road was arrested and charged with embezzlement over $100,000.
His bond was set at $75,000 secured pending a March 23, 2009, court date.
