To the editor: Sorry…

I like to think that I am as quick to accept criticism as I am to offer it.

Several people have contacted me and suggested that I review my decision, and the basis on which it was made, to no longer participate in posting on HiH. North Star posted that I was pouting; Que posted that I realized when my post were held up for several hours it was being “left behind” as the blog conversation topics moved on. Both are correct!

Actually, I feel that frustration is a better term to describe my “outburst”. The forum offered by HiH for the exchange of ideas and opinions by concerned citizens is very valuable and essential for the solution of the many problems we face as a society. Unfortunately, I have been using the comment feature incorrectly in that I was trying to say too much and offer excessive detail with the expectation that the post would appear immediately. I now realize that I should submit my “opinion(s)” as such and keep my “comments” short and on point.

“Mr. Editor” had explained to me the function of the moderation queue earlier and I failed to understand the process. When my posting did not appear as expected, I reacted poorly. I offer a sincere apology for any “cloud” my action may have inferred to the management of the HiH site and its editor.
