On June 3, 2009, Nora Cheek of 107 Carter Street was arrested and charged with obtaining property by false pretense.
An investigation by detectives of the Henderson Police Department found that Cheek was using a stolen water meter to receive water.
Cheek was released on $5,000 bond pending a June 15, 2009 court appearance.
The investigation into how Cheek came into possession of the stolen meter is continuing, and further arrests are anticipated.
