Breaking & Entering Case
On May 25, 2009, around 10:20 a.m., the Henderson Police Department responded to The Green Bean in reference to a breaking and entering of the business.
When officers arrived, they talked to Darrell Lake who fhad discovered that someone had broken out a side window and entered the business.
Missing were a variety of meats from the freezer and refrigerator.

First Degree Burglary Case
On May 8, 2008, around 12:21 a.m., the Vance County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a first degree burglary at Irene Bullock Lane.
Deputies arrived at the scene and talked to Vivian Perry Hargrove. Ms. Hargrove stated that she was asleep when someone kicked her back door in. Hargrove awoke and saw a black male, about six feet tall, weighing about 180 pounds, approximately in his mid 20’s, standing in her kitchen. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
Hargrove had a .45 pistol which she fired at the suspect.
The suspect left running from the residence.
