HPD seizes cocaine, marijuana, scales in bust

Leon Earl Daniels, 46, of 250 High Street was arrested on July 9, 2009 for possession and manufacture of controlled substances.

Members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation concerning drug sales occurring at 250 High Street in Henderson.

On July 9, 2009, a search warrant was executed at this location. Located during this search was cocaine, marijuana, and digital scales.

Leon Earl Daniels, 46, of 250 High Street in Henderson was arrested. Daniels was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule II substances, possession of Schedule VI substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling for keeping a controlled substance, and manufacture Schedule II controlled substances.

Daniels was placed under a $26,000 bond pending an August 17, 2009 court appearance.
