There were two new filings in Vance County today.

Mike Rainey filed today for the Henderson City Council Ward 2 seat, and Jerry Joynerfiled for mayor of Kittrell.

The Kittrell mayoral race now has two challengers. Henderson still has no uncontested council seats.
