Interested in running? Here’s the form you need to file with the Vance County Board of Elections to run for office.
There were three new filings in Vance County today.
Former Henderson City Council member Bobby Gupton filed today to run against current member Mike Inscoe for the Ward 2 At-Large city council seat. In addition, former council member Ranger Wilkerson filed today for the Ward 4 At-Large seat. His candidacy was met later today with a filing from current member George Daye to retain his Ward 4 At-Large seat.
Three races in Henderson now have challengers — the mayoral race, with Tina Hunter and Tim McAllister opposing incumbent Pete O’Geary, the Ward 2 At-Large race with Bobby Gupton challenging incumbent Mike Inscoe, and Ward 4 At-Large, with George Daye being challenged by Ranger Wilkerson.
