My name is Tim McAllister and I am a candidate for Mayor of Henderson.
I believe elected officials work for the people and not for themselves or special interests.
I believe with a line item tax on our county property tax bills we can fully fund joint ventures fairly and cut property tax rates at the same time.
I believe we can improve our crime rate and save tax dollars by eliminating the backlog of cases in the court system; demanding our Judges and District Attorneys “give the people Justice in a timely manner.”
I believe the Certificate of Occupancy was a much needed legislation in a city trying to rebuild. Our property values and our citizens deserve better.
Having moved here thirteen years ago, I saw the potential of a city with excellent natural resources just begging to grow. I chose to raise my three daughters here and now I am running for Mayor to offer a different perspective and new hope for a city to realize its full potential. Thank you.
