Breaking & Entering to Vehicles

On January 5, 2010 around 12:45 p.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to a call regarding two Time Warner vehicles which were broken in to at the Cracker Barrel restaurant on Ruin Creek Road.

Property was taken from both vehicles.

The Criminal Investigations Division is continuing the investigation.

Armed Robbery

On December 28, 2009, at about 8:15 p.m. Henderson police responded to the Henderson Moose Lodge where Rachel Nicholson of Oxford, North Carolina was assaulted and robbed by an unknown black male with a handgun. The suspect hit Nicholson several times with the handgun and took her purse. He then left running towards Rowland Street.

Breaking and Entering & Larceny

On November 6, 2009 at about 10:30 a.m. the Vance County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Satterwhite Point Marina in reference to a breaking and entering and larceny.

Catherine Hughes reported that suspects took a welding rig, two fifteen-gallon fuel tanks with gas, and cut the fuel lines on two boats.
