HPD, ATF make arrests on federal indictments


On February 8, 2010 officers of the Henderson Police Department and agents with the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) arrested three individuals on outstanding federal indictments.

The federal indictments in these matters were the result of a joint investigation conducted by members of the Henderson Police Department and the ATF.

Illicit drugs were seized along with an assault rifle, a handgun, and ammunition.

Carlton Lewis Williams, 36 of 865 Lamb Street in Henderson was arrested on a federal charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Mary Ann Brodie, 26 of 776 Parkway Drive in Henderson was also taken into custody. Brodie was indicted on federal charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and use of a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking offense.

Stacey Williams, 38 of 920 David Street in Henderson was also taken into custody on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. All of the individuals listed are being held in federal custody without privilege of bond.

Members of the Henderson Police Department in conjunction with federal authorities will continue to prosecute as many violent offenders and drug traffickers as possible on the federal level. This type of enforcement action will ensure that they receive the maximum punishment possible and will help to ensure the safety of our citizens in our neighborhoods and the entire community.
