Arrest made for shooting into vehicle


On March 7, 2010 at 2:08 p.m. members of the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 800 block of Harriett Street in reference to a subject who had shot into an occupied vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers found a blue 1996 Acura had been shot into with an unknown caliber firearm. The vehicle was occupied during the time of the shooting. The victim was not injured in this incident, and the suspect fled the scene prior to police’s arrival.

After further investigation by members of the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Michael Miles, 17, of 609 Orange Street in Henderson, North Carolina was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

Bond: $35,000.00 secured
