Vehicle stop yields heroin in Pepsi can


Chief K.L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit performed a vehicle stop on the public vehicular area of Hardee’s Restaurant located at 120 Dabney Drive in Henderson, North Carolina on April 8, 2010.

During the investigation, the passenger of the vehicle was detained.

A search of the passenger seat yielded a Pepsi can that had a false compartment. After the can was unscrewed, twenty bags of heroin were discovered. The investigation tends to show that the suspect listed below was involved in the sale and distribution of heroin.

The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
