The Henderson Police Department is warning area residents about false telephone calls and messages from a “representative” of Security Savings Bank.
The perpetrator[s] is asking potential victims to call 910.207.0000 because of a problem with their Visa debit card.
These calls are a scam. Security Savings Bank will not call or text any customers asking for any type of personal information. Â Should you receive one of these calls, please do not respond — just hang up on the caller. Â

Security Savings Bank has had its name on this scam for the last few days. Â It is anticipated that other banks’ names may be used soon. Â Once again, no bank or credit union will contact their customers requesting such personal information.
