Home in Henderson correspondent Lewis Edwards reported a few minutes ago that the Henderson City Council agreed in a straw vote to rescind its proposed four cent tax increase in ad valorum property taxes in the proposed fiscal 2011 budget.
The council agreed to find cuts elsewhere in the budget this evening during a budget work session that ended a few minutes before 8:00 p.m.
