HPD makes arrest after drug investigation


Chief K.L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit served a search warrant on the address of 1122 Maple Street in Henderson North Carolina.

The search warrant was executed on May 18, 2010.

The individual listed below was arrested after an intensive investigation by members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit. Several citizen complaints of drug activity were also received in the area of 1122 Maple Street. A substantial amount of powder cocaine and crack cocaine was located in the residence packaged to sell. Also located during the search was drug paraphernalia.

The suspect listed below has a criminal history that includes: possession of a firearn by felon, possession of cocaine, possession with the intent to sell cocaine, disorderly conduct, and two counts of resisting police officers.

The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
