Drugs, guns seized from residence near school


Chief K.L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit served a search warrant on the address of 1043 North Pinkston Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

The search warrant was executed on May 21, 2010.

The individual listed below was arrested after an intensive investigation by members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit. Several citizen complaints of drug activity were also received in the area of 1043 North Pinkston Street.

Items seized during the search include five grams of crack cocaine, ten grams of marijuana, a 9mm pistol, and drug paraphernalia.

The residence was located less than 1,000 feet from Pinkston Street Elementary School.

The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
