Homicide Case
On July 25, 2010 around 12:22 a.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to the Mexican Pool Room at 1109 Old Norlina Road in Henderson, North Carolina in reference to a person that had been shot.
Upon arrival officers found the victim, Jose Verdine, 20, of 795 Dabney Road in Henderson, North Carolina deceased from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the establishment.

Robbery & Assault Case
On August 2, 2010 around 3:40 p.m. the Henderson Police Department received a report of a robbery and assault at the intersection of Mason and Old Epsom Road.
The victim stated an African-American male had assaulted him and taken his bike. The suspect was described as being of medium build 6′ 1″, and weighing about 180 lbs. and wearing blue jeans and white-shirt.
