The public is invited to a free seminar entitled “Understanding the Generations” on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
Dr. Susan Jakes, an assistant professor and Cooperative Extension Specialist at NC State University, will be the guest speaker.
She will discuss differences among Baby Boomers, Generation X’ers, and Millennials and what we can do to bridge the generational divides in our families and communities. She will also bring an awareness of the effect historical events have on thinking and attitudes.
Held at H. Leslie Perry Memorial Library, this program is co-sponsored by Vance County Extension and Community Association and Vance County Center of NC Cooperative Extension.
