On August 18, 2010 officers with the Henderson Police Department Vice/Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant at 720 Highland Avenue, Apartment 6F in Henderson, North Carolina in reference to numerous citizen complaints.
During the search, 110 grams of marijuana, prescription pills, digital scales and plastic bags were seized.
Thelma Springs, 36, of the address at which the warrant was served was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell, manufacture, and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance, manufacture of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sandra Lee Johnson, 59, also of the same address was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession drug paraphernalia.
Springs was given a $20,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on September 20, 2010. Johnson was given a $1,000 secured bonding pending a court hearing on September 20, 2010.
