Davis arrested for shoplifting for 56th time

On Tuesday, February 1, 2011, an officer of the Henderson Police Department responded to the Henderson Walmart in response to a shoplifter.

The officer arrived and found Robin L. Davis, 43, 2065 Frances Avenue being detained by Walmart loss prevention. It is alleged that Davis exited the store with 8 Neutra Air refills and 2 Airwick air freshener refills.

Davis was taken into custody and transported to the Vance County Magistrate’s Office. Davis was charged with one count of misdemeanor larceny. A warrant check also revealed a warrant on file for shoplifting which had been taken out by an employee of Mast Drug. Davis was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a $5,000 secured bond. A trial date of February 28, 2011 has been set for Vance County District Court.

Davis was recently arrested on January 22, 2011 for a charge of misdemeanor larceny. The current charges bring the total number of shoplifting/larceny arrest count to 56.
