On Wednesday, February 2, 2011, an officer of the Henderson Police Department conducted a vehicle stop on Parham Street in Henderson.
During the stop, information was obtained informing police that one or more individuals inside the vehicle had outstanding warrants.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brad Wesley Chandler, 27, of 314 N. Clark Street in Henderson. A check of NCAWARE revealed that there was an outstanding order for arrest for Chandler. The officer also noted that Chandler was driving with a revoked driver’s license. Chandler was taken into custody.

The front passenger of the vehicle was identified as Jerome Rasheed Watkins. A check of NCAWARE revealed that there was an outstanding order for arrest for Watkins. Watkins was taken into custody and, during processing, officers located 12.9 grams of marijuana on Watkins’ person. Watkins was also charged possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver marijuana.
The individual in the back of the vehicle was identified as Kevin Bernard Williams, 29, of 601 N. Chestnut Street in Henderson. A check in NCAWARE revealed outstanding orders for arrest out of Wake County and Franklin County for failing to appear on charges of felony larceny.

Chandler was released after posting a $2,500 secure bond. Chandler has a hearing scheduled in Vance County District Court on March 22, 2011.
Watkins was released after posting an $11,000 secured bond. Watkins has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 22, 2011 in Vance County District Court.
Williams was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a $510,000 secured bond. Williams received a $500,000 bond on the Wake County charge and a $10,000 bond on the Franklin County charge. A court date of March 7, 2011 was set for the Wake County case and the Franklin County court date was set for March 1, 2011.
