On Thursday March 10, 2011, an officer of the Henderson Police Department responded to Walmart, 200 N. Cooper Drive in response to a larceny.
The officer found that loss prevention officers were detaining one suspect. The loss prevention officers alleged that they had observed an individual conceal a Logitech computer microphone and leave the store without paying.
Christopher Daniel Byrne, 20, of 158 W. Belle Street in Henderson was transported to the Magistrate’s office where he was charged with one count of misdemeanor larceny. He was then placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a $400 secured bond. A trial date of April 25, 2011 was set for Vance County District Court.
