Monday morning, President Obama visited Cannon Falls, Minnesota to kick off his economic bus tour. The President is traveling around the Midwest to stress the vital role rural America plays in ensuring the growth of our economy, the affordability of our food, the independence of our energy supply, and the strength of our communities. Cannon Falls, Minnesota, 35 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, is the first stop in a three day tour across America’s heartland. President Obama took questions from small business owners, rural organizations and local families during a town hall that began at 1:05 pm EDT at Lower Hannah’s Bend Park.
Meanwhile, Mitt Romney’s campaign trail includes testimonials from citizens around the country about how Obama Isn’t Working. Here’s the latest ad, also from Minnesota:
Enjoy the cooler temps on our Tuesday Open Line as hopefully the hot summer weather is closing out. Today’s high expected to be 89.
Our president has been spending more time since he was elected campaning and trying to raise more money for the 20012 elections. Not mutch surprise he at it again. I have been voating for President since I first voted for Goldwarter. I do not recall any 2 presidents with as many problems as Obama nore do I recall any 2 presidents that have spent so much time on the campain trail. I guess when you do not know what to do next it is relaxing for him to hit the campaign trail where he does not have to do what he said he would do, he can say anything the people he is talking to at the time want to hear him say. The american people can’t remember what lye he told yesterday, mutch less when he last ran for President. WE CAN DO BETER THAN THAT.
It is redicilous how much money he and Michelle has spent on vacations since he has been in office. The country is broke and he has spent a billion dollars on vacations.
Can he afford a bus ticket? Oh, that’s right……… he’s on a taxpayers jet plane.
