If you missed the Trick or Treating event last night, we’ve got some pictures for you. At the Dataforge headquarters, we had hundreds of kids, I’d guess between 1 to 2 thousand kids, I don’t even know how many people came through but we gave away about 2000 pieces of candy. It was a steady stream of people for an hour and a half. We tried to give only one piece per kid, because we knew, and they did, that kids would come in multiple times. Last year we nearly ran out, so this year we got a bit more, as you can see in the picture gallery below. But each kid that came in got one piece of candy, each time they came in, and for the adults they got a flyer for our business. Apologies to all that came through that I didn’t even think to say a word to anyone about Home in Henderson, I just handed out Dataforge flyers and cried our services. If you wanted to get a chance to talk to me as you could tell we were just trying to roll the kids in and out as quickly as possible and I more than likely missed talking to you. Feel free to call or come back when we aren’t so quite daunted with ghouls.
Next door to us, Terry Garrison was outside trying to keep up with the candy distribution at Tegarris Realty, and to our other side Spiritual Connections Cafe ran out of candy early and was offering paper towels to people to dry off with. Across the street we could see the Variety Wholesalers office also participating with the steady stream on their side. But we all thank everyone who supported your downtown merchants, and we hope that we all showed you the greatness of shops available to you every day in Henderson, NC.
How was your Halloween experience in Henderson?
