This weeks presidential Weekly Address President Obama calls on Congress to extend and expand the payroll tax cut — to protect middle class families and ensure that the economy continues to grow.
Another video released this weekend shows a recap of last weeks events in the administration called the West Wing Week.
And finally, President Obama was joined by First Lady Michelle Obama, their daughters Malia and Sasha and “Grandmother in Chief” Marian Robinson to light a brand new National Christmas Tree in the President’s Park outside the White House. This year’s tree replaces one that was part of the national tradition for 30 years , until it was lost in a storm earlier this year. Continuing another tradition, the First Lady read “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to the crowd before the lighting ceremony began, and this year she was joined by Kermit the Frog.
We hope you took some time to come Sunday to the Henderson Christmas Parade. The streets were lined with people all down Garnett Street in downtown. We have pics will be posting as well.
Welcome to the Monday Open Lines!
Hi, I had posted on here sometime back about anyone with any encounters with Mariah Parham Hospital. I would appreciate any and all feedback. As for my own experience, it was Horrific!! I am in process of filing a complaint . Feel free to join me we can add our voices together to try and make a difference for future Patients. I’m sure there are Hundreds with nothing but good things to say, and that’s great. Please respond either way. Thanks and have a blessed rest of your day.
I figured that was what you had in mind…
Our only experiance at MPMC was positive in every way. kathdean, some people will do anything for money, that’s why our health insurance rates are so high.
OK, I’ll bite. I’ve had quite a relationship with MPH this year, as I’ve had a close family member in and out of the facility on several occasions. Two hopsital stays, 4 or 5 emergency room visits, and frequent consultations with professional staff. The doctors and nurses were, without fail, excellent to work with, and communications were good ( tough one to be excellent on ). Operational issues in hospital also very good. Waiting times in ER were a little trying, but staff were excellent. ( I also believe, due to the large volume of people getting basic medical home services in ER, this is what makes the service there a little trying). Also found the general mood of staff, support and professional, to be very helpful and uplifting. To get picky, I found the cafeteria food to be very good, but food to family members’ room to be inconsistent, but I understand the difficulty to prepare volumes of meals that everyone likes, meets their dietary requirements, and get that to their rooms quickly enough. My suggestion: Add appetizers to the menu !!!
I don’t give an A+ to anything less than absolutely exemplary service,so my xtensive experience with MPH over these last several months with so many of their services, etc. would be an firm A.
