The County’s Public Safety Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, January 9 at 2:15 p.m. in the County Manager’s Office. The purpose is to discuss Bearpond Fire Department.
The County’s HR Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the County Manager’s Office.

What was the judge thinking when he let out on bail the brother of the guy that was shot and killed in the home invasion on Lynnbank Road? Seems to me somebody is just asking for trouble. If I was that family, I would request around-the-clock police protection.
All of those involved in the home invasion have records–it is unbelievable any of them are out on bond. Law abiding citizens seem to be under attack from all sides .
UNCMom…The cards are stacked against victims in our so called ‘justice’ system. The lawyers and judges don’t seem to care — I guess it doesn’t affect them. They can go home at night and not worry about getting targeted…in their nice neighborhoods…
